Wednesday - another lazy day

Watching some morning cartoons

Giving Diego some love

Making faces

By the way, I'm going to say that Isaac officially had his first tooth break through.  I think it was Monday.  I've been feeling his rubbing his gums to try to help them feel better.  It's hard to get a visual, because he just won't hold still long enough :-)  The second tooth on the bottom seems to have a corner poking through, but not the whole tooth yet.

Tuesday- still home

It was a Wii playing...

Pajama wearing...

Baby swinging...

Trio block building...

kind of day.

Sunday, Fun Day

Saturday-still snowing!

Saturday started out with still more snow. We took it easy in the morning, and then headed out to play for a bit.

Isaac was not happy with getting flakes on the little bit of his face that was exposed. We stood by a house and watched the others play for a little bit.

Josiah after a wipeout.

Relaxing in the house
We came in from playing, I went to put soup on the stove about 4:30pm, and the power went out. We enjoyed an evening of boardgames, movies on the laptop, and cold Chef Boyardee by candlelight. The power came back on about 3am. Praising God that it was not longer, and the temperature in our house never really dipped. We continue to pray for all of those without power and who are affected in other ways by the snow and cold temperatures.

Friday...Snow Day

We've enjoyed having Daddy spend this snow day home with us. It's a blessing that when needed, he can work from home. So Daddy time is the theme to today's pics.

Hope for his sake these teeth come in soon!

Cheesin'

Love seeing her read!

Snow started falling before 8 this morning. Our predicted 2+ feet may end up being lower since we've had sleet for the past couple of hours now. I'm thinking the theme tomorrow will be snow!

Thursday pics

Good Morning, World!

Elizabeth on her way to her one day of school this week. Each child in her class was asked to make(with the help of parents) a building that might be in the community. She said they ended up with three hospitals ;-) We made a Bakery... complete with sculpted wedding cake, cinnamon rolls, and bread in the window display.

Waiting to pick up Big Sister. The attitude is strong with this one!

Ready to head up to bed. Looking forward to a weekend of being snowed in.

Play, talk, sleep

Isaac is really doing well with some time playing alone.  He keeps himself entertained with just the Link-a-doos on his swing, the toys hanging from his 3-in-1 piano (even without the batteries), or even just his voice and his hands.  Many days, he plays long enough I can get lunch together and eat before he starts fussing that he's done.  I've been very impressed with his hand-eye coordination, too!

Elizabeth and Josiah were excited to call and sing Happy Birthday to Grandpa Allen tonight.  At one point, Grandpa said, "I am getting old."  Elizabeth replied, "Getting old?  You're already old!"  She means it with love, Grandpa.

With three snow days this week, the kids have played together A LOT!  They are pretty tired at the end of the day.  I'm proud of how well they've been getting along, but it's nice when bedtime comes, too :-)
Good Night!

Shiny New Car

Josiah has been doing so well telling us when he needs to go potty (finally), he earned a brand new car!....
... and not just any car, but a 2010 Gold Ford Mustang GT! (can you tell how much he is enjoying it?)

With Elizabeth skipping all these days of school, she has not been laying around the house. She has been helping mommy out, especially with Isaac.

And speaking of Isaac, he is teething at 3 months, and has temporarily mutated into the "Drool Monster" (dun dun dunnnnnn)

New Goal

Since it's a new month, I'm going to attempt a new goal. I want to take a picture of each of our kids every day this month. I actually didn't think about this being the shortest month before I decided on the goal, but it works for me ;-). I'll try to post the pictures, as well as finally put some family updates. Today's picture has all three in one...love it when I can simplify!

Okay, so I'm including one from yesterday, too. Isaac was a bit fussy, and Josiah actually asked to hold him! It didn't last long, as Isaac became quite a bit more fussy, but I was very proud of Josiah for trying to hold and soothe Isaac.
